Walnut Tree

Walnuts (Urdu: Akhrot-اخروٹ) are the plants in the genes Juglans, family Juglandacea. They are deciduous trees which grow at 1,000–3,000 meters altitude. In Pakistan walnut trees are also occur wildly in the areas of Galliat, Chitral, Abbotabad, Swat, Dir, Shangla and Buner.

Common Babbler Bird

The common babbler (Turdoides caudata) is a member of the Leiothrichidae family. They are found in dry open scrub countries. The species is distinctly long-tailed, slim with an overall brown or greyish color, streaked on the upper plumage and having a distinctive whitish throat. They are found in small groups of six to twenty. They feed on insects, berries and grains. The nesting season is in summer from April to July. They build a shallow cup nest low in a thorny bush and lay about 2-4 turquoise blue eggs.

Fig Tree New Shoot

Fig tree is one of the trees that sprout new shoots very early. Their shoots are considered as a first sign of spring. They start new shoots in the end of January, when the weather is still very cold.
